Hynix has recently introduced a family of Solid State drives (SSD), which is one of the fastest growing NAND applications. SSDs feature high speed, reduced latency, enhanced durability compared to hard drives, and would find use in MIDs, NoteBooks, and server systems. 16-256GB densities targeting NoteBooks and NetBooks are available now. High reliability SSDs for server platforms will be introduced later in the year.
